Great American Sweeping, Inc. 1. Strong emphasis on safety as number one priority to sweeping operators. 2. Extensive training of operators through training on operating equipment and on-site skills. 3. Proper instruction to operators through training on proper, legal water usage and dumping.

Great American Sweeping, Inc. 4. Adhere to state laws and DOT laws and regulations. 5. Proper communication tools explained and skill demonstrated. 6. Operators expected to be professional in all aspects of daily operations within company and absolutely with customer.

Great American Sweeping, Inc. 7. No tolerance for any operator that does not follow drug and alcohol policies. 8. Pre-Screening of new hires to submit to a background check, MVR, and drug screen. 9. Emphasize operators to complete every job with the best quality possible in a timely matter.

Great American Sweeping, Inc. 10. All operators to be truthful, honest and responsible for their actions. 11. Watch and make sure gutter brooms are touching the ground. 12. Look to see if rear broom is coned.

Great American Sweeping, Inc. 13. If sweeper is trailing, look to see if rear skids are bent. 14. If truck is not picking up, right ask driver if conveyor is “all the way in.” 15. If the rear broom looks like it is skipping and leaving material behind, ask if “broom is all the way down” or if “there is enough down pressure on it.”

Great American Sweeping, Inc. 16. If truck is not picking up, the conveyor or the rear broom may have stalled. 17. Dumping: make sure on level ground or truck may tip over. 18. Make sure no overhead obstructions. 19. Make sure dumpsite is not muddy or sweeper will get stuck, and can bend skids.

Great American Sweeping, Inc. 20. Operator should watch for raised obstructions like manholes gutters and curbs they all could bend or rip off skids, delaying project finish time. 21. Operater should always get with onsite contact to see exactly what they what done. 22. Driver should get with onsite contact when they are done to see if that is all they want done or if it meets their expectations, and so they can get singed out.
