Create a new notebook entry Date: 1/22/2013 Title: Until We Meet Again Day One Looking at the front cover of the novel, make a prediction. What do you think this book will be about?

Group Sharing Each student will share his/her written response (prediction) with the group. Once everyone in the group has shared, the group will create a group prediction to share with the class.

Introduction Sequel to A Matter of Trust, this story continues the tale of the Wills family. Darcy learns that Hakeem, her first boyfriend, is moving out of the state. Then her grandmother's health declines and a mysterious new person comes into her life. Darcy Wills is looking forward to the best summer of her life, but her plans are shattered by a series of unexpected events. First, horrible news rips her boyfriend Hakeem away. Then someone new enters her life, leaving Darcy in a world of confusion

Before we read… After a 5 year separation, Darcy’s parents decide to give their marriage a chance. At the same time Hakeem, Darcy’s boyfriend, moves to Detroit. Darcy is sad but quickly falls for the attention from Brian. Then Brian attempts to rape Darcy and her life changes in so many ways. Add to your previous prediction for Until We Meet Again. Be sure to explain your prediction.

The expert will travel from group to group explaining the answer and showing where to find the textual evidence. Who will be your group’s expert?
