My Top 3 Tips: [Title] No. 1: Know Who You (really) are and Be Yourself Who are you? What are your individual talents? Do you specialize? Do you have abilities other collegues don‘t have? Set up a „fact sheet“ about yourself! (name, golf course, personal & professional qualifications, range of services, philosophy, customer benefits, USP, slogan/logo) This is your business profile (use it for handouts, golf club black board, home page, etc.) Know who you are and what you can do for your customers. Be a self-conscious golf professional, but never be arrogant.

My Top 3 Tips: [Title] No. 2: Never Over Promise And Under Fulfill When you offer your services, you make promises („rapid success“, „fast improvement“, „better golf“, etc.) Credibility is the name of the game. Your customers and other golfers look at you, they expect you to be a shining example, a true golf „professional“. Therefore: Never promise things you cannot fulfill. Never disappoint your customers ! Build the positive image of a reliable and trustworthy person „You may only teach what you can live yourself“ (Albert Schweitzer)
