These things are good and profitable to men. let our people also learn to maintain good works Titus 3: And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.

Why do you do what you do as a Christian? – To go to heaven? – To not go to hell? – To be seen of men? – To be seen by God? – To bear fruit? – To lay up treasure in heaven? Why? – To glorify God? – To please God? – Because you owe the Lord? – Because you love the Lord? – Because men hate you? – Because you love men?

see your good worksglorify your Father in heaven Matthew 5: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,that you may be sons of your Father in heaven Matthew 5:44– But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
