What is Globalization? Globalization is: is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information technology.

Globalization Begin to think about the benefits of globalization as well as the challenges it brings to the world. Example… Mass Media, Travel, Consumerism, computers, multinational corporations

Mass Media Allows citizens to see how the world is changing in response to global forces Enables citizens to help shape these changes Consumers see exploitive tendencies of a company in another region may respond by boycotting products and forcing the company to take action. Responsiveness of globalization includes ethical, economic dementions

Developed Countries A developed country, (AKA… industrialized country, or "more economically developed country" (MEDC)), is a sovereign state that has a highly developed economy and advanced technological infrastructure relative to other less industrialized nations.

Developing Countries a country having a standard of living or level of industrial production well below that possible with financial or technical aid; a country that is not yet highly industrialized.
