FULL CREDIT REPORTING Initial thoughts This could not be good for our low-income population Our constituency is juggling funds to get by every day Many are not thinking about their credit report 5

FULL CREDIT REPORTING Research through Partners Nicor Gas and Peoples Gas has been doing full credit reporting for years Both are using the same criteria: Past due for 60 days with over $100 balance to get a negative credit report 6

FULL CREDIT REPORTING Conclusion Full utility credit reporting may be good for Cook County, Illinois for our energy assistance clients More studies should be done before national legislation is passed 7
