Managing Resources ‘Three Buckets’ © 2005 IDS Solutions Inc. All Rights Reserved Duplication for resale is illegal Version1.1 Nov06 Lifestyle Bucket Security Bucket Wealth Building Bucket This is your current total $ cost of living per month – including all expenses, such as debt, mortgage, food, clothing, donations …everything! Take your Lifestyle Bucket and ask yourself – if you lost all your income sources today, how long would it take you to get back to that monthly income level? 6 months, 1 year, 2 years? Take that time period Multiplied by your Lifestyle Bucket $/month as a Security Bucket goal. Any extra money you earn above your Lifestyle amount should go into a special Security Bucket account and held in a secure investment with quick accessibility. Once you have your Security Bucket filled, you can either increase your Lifestyle Bucket (which in turn would have you increase your Security Bucket to its new level) OR, you can start filling your Wealth Building Bucket – all extra money directed here are the funds you can use to invest into real estate, stocks, start ups, etc. Overflow Current CA$HFLOW 1 in 3 Investments hit big, making the risk worth it! “As was taught to me by my Mentor…” Michael DiMuccio BACK
