O-NOPREN: Ohio Nutrition and Obesity Policy Research and Evaluation Network In collaboration with the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods at Case Western University and the ODH Its purpose is to assess and improve readiness to implement nutrition related evidence based policy and environmental interventions for obesity prevention Four urban and 5 rural Ohioan counties will be selected based on county health rankings (worst); adult obesity rates (27-33%) and SNAP participation (13% - 27%) O-NOPREN

Voices for Food This is a USDA, AFRI funded project Its objective is to address food security in isolated, rural communities known as “food deserts” SNAP-Ed will provide nutrition education programming with food pantry clients
