Green planet Fifty years ago green was just a color. Now it's a way of looking at our world. But how green is our planet today? From Rainbow Warrior to Exxon Valdez, from penguins to jaguars, from rainforests to oceans, this book explores the stories that have made environmental history.

my family and other animals The whole story began with a proposal for Larry, the eldest son of Mrs. Durrell, was struck by a postcard sent to him by his friend George, who lived on the island of Corfu. Larry proposed to move with his family in Greece. Mrs. Durrell accepted without hesitation and the next day they set out. Everyone had brought with him the bare minimum: Leslie, the second son, fond of arms, had brought two revolvers wrapped in a pair of pants; Margo had brought many clothes, diet books and perfumes; Larry was accompanied by two trunks full of books. The baggage consisted of Mrs. Durrell cookbooks and various personal effects; to Gerald in natural history books, a butterfly net and the dog Roger. Arrived in Corfu settled in a hotel, but for hygienic problems, they wanted to move into a country house. The guide led them to the hotel but Mrs. Durrell was not able to find a house with bathroom

things in common the things they have in common these two books are the animals and the environment in which they live
