People bought him expensive furniture . . .

He gave it all away to help a poor woman . . .

When someone gave him a new and expensive robe . . . Anba Abraam found a poor man who was cold and he gave it to him.

He would put whatever money he was given under a pillow so that he would always have something to give to others.

He never let poor people eat food that was less good than his own food

“God loves a cheerful giver” Anba Abraam was always very happy to help others & give all that he had to others “God loves a cheerful giver” ( 2 Corinthians 9:7 )
