History Our school has a partnership with the Technical gymnasium in Waldshut Germany since 2002
THE TRIP WAS LONG, BUT IT WENT BY VERY FAST, BECAUSE OF THE BEAUTIFUL SIGHTS AND STORIES.. The trip
We made a few breakes druing the trip, and got a picture with the mountains behind us..
Location Waldshut is located in southwest Germany It’s near the Rhine, right at the border with Switzerland
Waldshut has a population of 22,876 inhabitants (while Rijeka has ) The area size is km 2 (while Rijeka has only 44 km 2 ) The old city part of Waldshut
Waldshut has a long and interesting history that is told by many statues, paintings, castles and buildings..
… with a creek going trough the city..
…houses older than the city itself…
..and a touch modern art which defies historical principles..

We were introduced to the education system in Germany, and got a quick presentation about the school.

“Devastated” 30 year old school tables..
The school is huge, but clean everywhere Has a lot of places for the students to sit, chat and do homework I has lots of computers, lots!
We visited LignoTrend, a manufacturer of cross laminated timber..
AWESOME CHAINSAWS!
We were introduced to Testo, which is a worldwide manufacturer of portable measuring instruments.
The next thing we saw was a school that had no windows… The air is brought trough tunnels, and the school has sollar collectors on the roof.

We saw the beauties of ZÜRICH
And finally we visited a brewery called ROTHAUS
Up to bottles an hour..
And we got a really delicious meal (with beer)..
And at last..the departure.. With lots of presents …
In the end we can only say....because you will be very sorry if you don’t..
