In 1609, The Dutch East India Company hired Henry while in Holland.
Henry was an English sea captain. He set out to reach China by sailing around northern shores of Europe. He tried to reach China from there.
Henry sailed a large body of water, and noticed it was only a river now the Hudson river.
His men got tired of ice and cold.
He traveled to many places many times.
