Overview of UltraLube™

Biobased Lubricants Meet federal bio-preferred requirements USDA BioPreferred® listed Base oil derived from U.S.A. grown vegetables Renewable resource Byproducts returned to food chain Biodegradable Reduce dependency on OPEC More price stable than petroleum No zinc, no chlorine Replace and mix readily with petroleum based products

Quality

Superior performance to petroleum based lubricants Superior Lubricity Less friction, less heat, less wear Can operate machinery at higher speeds Naturally higher viscosity index Less likely to thin out at high temperatures Higher film strength Withstands pressure better

Superior performance to petroleum based lubricants Biobased GCLB grease provides 35% better wear protection in 4-Ball Weld* test Requires fewer additives Less volatility/Higher flash point Safer to use * The Four-Ball Weld Test is used to measure load carrying capability. A steel ball is loaded and rotated against 3 fixed steel balls. The contact surfaces are covered with test lubricant, a load is applied and a timed test is performed. At the end of each run, additional weight is loaded onto the balls, and the test re-run. The weld point is the load at which the balls weld together.

Competitive Testing – 4-Ball Wear Test Test Standard – ASTM D 4172 Three steel balls are fixed into a cup by a locking collar so they cannot rotate A fourth ball rides on the three with a given weight (40 kgf) on it for a specific amount of time (60 minutes) per the ASTM standard The cup and balls are filled/covered with the test fluid and the fourth ball is spun per the above at 165°F After the test, the three fixed balls are removed and the resulting “scars” are measure in diameter in mm. The width of the scar is recorded. This diameter (in mm) measures how much of the ball has worn away. The bigger the number, the more wear took place. This gives a good comparison basis for how well a product lubricates under constant pressure & heat build-up. Test conducted by Independent Test Lab – National Ag-Based Lubricants Center (NABL)

4-Ball Test Machine

4-Ball Wear Test Results UltraLube™ is the clear winner with the smallest scar diameter of mm WD-40 was a 3 rd at 0.52 mm scar diameter (+11.1% more wear) WD-40 Industrial Grade blue WORKS silicone was 5 th at 0.6 mm scar diameter (+28.2% more wear) WD-40 Industrial Grade blue works White Lithium Grease Spray was 2 nd at 0.5 mm scar diameter (+6.8% more wear) 3-in-1 was 4 th at mm scar diameter (+16.9% more wear) Permatex B-Force (a biobased lubricant) was 6 th at mm scar diameter (+29.7% more wear) Liquid Wrench test was inconclusive due to non-repeatability and wide variances

Competitive Testing – Falex Pin & V-Block Test Test Standard – ASTM D 3233 Test runs a steel journal pin at 290 rpm’s (±10 rpm) against two stationary V-blocks The pin is lubricated and placed in the V-block assembly which sits in the oil at 165°F Load is applied to the V-blocks by a ratchet mechanism and an increasing load is applied The result is a point of how much load/pressure/torque it took to stop the pin from rotating This gives a good comparison of a lubricants ability to stand up to extreme pressure, load, heat and it’s ability to reduce friction Test conducted by Independent Test Lab – National Ag-Based Lubricants Center (NABL)

Falex Pin & V-Block Test Machine

Falex Pin & V-Block Test Results UltraLube™ again is the clear winner with the highest load applied – 3, lbf (67.2% better than it’s closest competitor) Permatex B-Force was 2 nd at 1, lbf Liquid Wrench was 3 rd at 1, lbf WD-40 industrial Grade White Lithium Grease was 4 th at 1,439 lbf WD-40 industrial Grade Silicone was 5 th at 1,300 lbf WD-40 was 6 th at 1, lbf 3-in-1 was last at lbf

4X More Lubrication The chart shows the results of ASTM D3233 conducted by NABL using UltraLube® high oleic base oil and three different viscosities of petroleum base oils. Compare the UltraLube base oil result of 1,756 lbF (pounds of force) to the average of the petroleum base oils of 434 lbf UltraLube® has 4 TIMES the lubricity, or friction reducing capability of petroleum base oil. UltraLube® professional –grade, biobased lubricants - GETS IN, STAYS ON™

4X More Lubrication In addition to tremendous film strength, high viscosity index and ability to take heat and pressure, vegetable oil molecules are “polar”. This means they are attracted to and bond to metals. Petroleum oils are not “polar” and will run off of metals. They have poor adhesion characteristics. Remember: GETS IN, STAYS ON™ Powerful professional-grade UltraLube® instantly penetrates, creating long-lasting bonds to metal, even plastic surfaces. READY FOR ANYTHING UltraLube® professional-grade, biobased lubricants contain advanced EP additives, have high drop points, high flash points and resist thinning at high temperatures. They reduce friction better than petroleum products. UltraLube® will mix with or replace petroleum based products.

Comments from Users

 “I was very surprised at how well it worked. Very low odor. It soaked right in, freed up the parts. I work on large HVAC systems. We needed to free up a large set of dampers. We sprayed them up, let sit a short time, then tried to move them. They started to move & we sprayed them again. They started to move like new. We used a whole can that morning. Very good product.” Donald B., Franklin, WI.  “This lubricant worked great. It penetrated so that my generator worked to its fullest potential, and it now runs quietly.” Stephen C., Bakersfield, CA.  “I thought this would just be ‘another lubricant,’ but was I wrong. UltraLube goes to work in the matter of minutes. I tried UltraLube on my muscle car, a 1965 Chevy II Nova SS, which I was changing the rear brake lines. I sprayed UltraLube on the nut going in to back plate of the brake drum & it began to bubble, it was penetrating through the ‘rust’ – 44 years worth. I removed the nut & lines with ‘no’ trouble. I would recommend this product to everyone, it’s great!” Mike L., Pass Christina, MS.  “I have an old fan said to have ‘permanent’ lubrication. It quit working and I have not found a way to take it apart to re-lube. This product seems to have brought it back to life better than buying a new fan! It also worked on some hinges that were getting tight.” David M., Tacoma, WA. Handyman Consumer Focus Group Sample Quotes

 “Holds up better than WD-40 and PB-Blaster. Tested under heavy conditions from home to construction field.” Larry V., Bridgeport, NJ.  “I’m a retired tool and die maker (43 years with GM) also an avid hunter and fisherman. I used your product on all my precision tools, guns, bows, fishing equipment. Really slick, scent free, environmentally friendly.” Richard S., Highland, MI.  “UltraLube solved any lubricant problem, from pipe cutter to the wheels of a gangbox. It also helped to remove bolts from an old steam valve! You can imagine how dry those bolts were!!!” Salvatore A., Prospect, CT.  “I started out using it to oil my truck hinges and bow cam axles. My buddy snapped it up & I haven’t seen it since, but he has freed up rusty parts, lubed his kids’ bikes & car hinges. It’s working great!” Joe P., National City, MI.  “One feature is if sprayed on your skin it can be washed off with soap and water unlike WD-40. It also does not have an offensive smell like WD-40. I sprayed the axles & wheels of my push turn mower. I was amazed, it handled like a self-propelled mower. I also tried them on some stubborn wood clamps & they ended up turning with one finger.” Jesse S., Sparta, TN. Handyman Consumer Focus Group Sample Quotes
