What are the computer procedures?  Computer login: Generic account user name: student password: student Personal account user name: your first name and last initial ex: JohnA password: last four digits of student ID  Computer logout: Windows START menu  LOG OFF (logo key + L) Push in your chairs as you leave

PC vs. Mac?  Adobe suite is cross platform  Nothing ever stays the same  Modifier keys: Control (PC) = Command (Apple key) Alt (PC) = Option (Mac) Shift (PC) = Shift (Mac) Right mouse (PC) = Control (Mac)

What are the parts of the desktop? TASK BAR WINDOWFOLDER PINNED PROGRAMS SHORTCUTS

How do I find my flash drive?  Double click on the MY COMPUTER icon to open a window.  Double click the drive icon to open its window.  Right click to safely eject.

What are the working procedures?  Always work on your flash drive. Remember to safely eject  Keep your files inside descriptively named folders.  Show the file extensions: WINDOW  ORGANIZE  FOLDER & SEARCH OPTIONS  VIEW TAB  uncheck HIDE EXTENSIONS FOR KNOWN FILE TYPES  Backup, backup and backup!
