Career Clusters Related occupations organized by the types of products and services these occupations provide to society. The Office of Vocational and Adult Education, U.S. Department of Education has adopted 16 career clusters as the structure for organizing programs within CTE. Within these clusters, career pathways provide guidance as to the knowledge and skills that must be acquired to prepare for occupations at varying levels.
