Trello Pros Managing boards & editing lists/cards far less labor-intensive than Confluence. Changes occur for all viewers in real time. Updates flow seamlessly into project meetings & eliminate need to carve out extra time to edit Confluence. Allows tracking of projects in much greater detail. Notification system for activity and due dates. All stakeholders better informed of project progress.

Trello Cons Stakeholders who are not Trello members cannot view boards Organization level boards & generic logins can address some stakeholders Confluence audience can still be reached using a Chrome extension that allows us to export higher-level board data as an Excel file. Full staff buy-in has been mixed, but Confluence pages were actively managed by a core group of staff & Trello has been the same.
