Salix Funding – over half of the fund has been committed or spent (£565,368.85) – £131K pipework insulation with 1.7 yr payback – £33K MSB lighting 3.5 yr payback Combined Heat & Power –Detailed design work of Leicester scheme underway – PIT established –City scheme – ESCo appointment imminent ENERGY

Recycling scheme now in all satellite buildings Free collections of fluorescent tubes and batteries set-up – annual savings of c.£8,000 New, cheaper shredding contract arranged Waste auditing crossed boundaries with teaching and learning – now incorporated into ‘Ecological Futures’ final year Geography course WASTE
