Presentation transcript:

What are LiveBinders? A LiveBinder is like a 3- ring binder on the Web. It helps to organize resources all into one location. Live Binders is a website that allows you to view links like pages in a book instead of URLs on a page.

What types of Information can I add to a LiveBinder? In addition to creating tabs that link to different websites, you can also add: – Links to Word and PowerPoint documents that can be downloaded – Word and PowerPoint documents can be saved as.pdf files and will be displayed on a tab or subtab instead of a link. – Text may also be typed directly on a page – Graphics - Flikr – Videos - YouTube – Google Calendars

How can others access my binder? First you need to decide whether to make your binder either Public or Private – Public Binders – anyone can access – Private Binders only those that you send a link to can access the binder). You can add a link to your webpage or you can embed a public binder You can a link to a private binder

If I invite others to use my binder can they make changes? LiveBinders can only be edited by the author unless you invite someone to collaborate. Once you add collaborators they also can assist in developing the binder.
