 Artemis, or in Greek Ἄ ρτεμις. She is the daughter of Leto and Zeus, and the twin of Apollo. She was one of the 12 Olympians(the major gods).

 Some of the Greek goddesses symbols are the silver bow and arrow, the moon, sandals, three pillars, and blue skies. Animals worshipped her to, animals like the deer,dogs,horses,doves,and more. Her colors were turquoise, silver, white,red,and green. myths/goddess_symbols_artemis.htm

Artemis represents many things some of them being the goddess of child birth, hunting, and nature. Later on she was known to represent the moon. She protected the young, and the wild animals. myths/greek_goddess_artemis.htm

 She was nature loving, and very quick to anger, but was very athletic, and resistant to men.

 One day Artemis was very sweaty and decided to bath in a sacred pool deep in the woods.
