THE STUDENT Let’s look at the photo of the student. Can you describe the student? Is he happy or sad? Can you guess why? What is student’s wish?

THE STUDENT Let’s look at the photo of the student. Can you describe the student? The student is sad. He loves the daughter of the Professor. He has dark hair and red lips. His face is white with sorrow. Is he happy or sad? Can you guess why? He is sad because he has to find a red rose for his lover. But, he can’t find a red rose. What is student’s wish? He wants to dance with the daughter of the Professor and hold her in her arms.

THE NIGHTINGALE Can you describe the nightingale? Does the nightingale understand the student? help to the student? How does the nightingale help?

THE NIGHTINGALE Can you describe the nightingale? The nightingale is kind and helpful. She is romantic. She is brave and generous. Does the nightingale understand the student? Yes, the nightingale understands the student’s love. She believes in true love. Does the nightingale help to the student? Yes, the nightingale tries to find a red rose for him. How does the nightingale help? The nightingale sings to a rose and the thorn of the rose cuts into the heart of the nightingale. The blood makes the rose red.

She refuses the student’s rose. Does she dance with the student? No, she dances with all the young men, but the student doesn’t have a red rose. So, she doesn’t dance with him. What does she tell the student at the end of the story? She tells the student that he is only a poor student.
