1 TASK: ANALYZE A MORALITY TALE, LINK THE CHARACTER TO THE TALE HE TELLS The Pardoner’s Tale

2 Pardoner’s Tale Some people have said: “The love of money is the root of all evil” In other words, all evil can be linked in some way to money. Think of it like a tree: What grows is “evil” the “roots” are money (they feed “evil”)

3 Pardoner’s Tale - Journal “The love of money is the root of all evil” Now, what do you think: Do you believe this phrase is true? Why or why not? Give an example of why you believe your opinion is true.

4 Pardoner’s Tale – Prediction Directions [you do not need to copy this down] While we are reading this story, we will stop occasionally and make predictions, or guesses of what will happen next.
