Specify Distance for Offset Copy Move the pointer down to set the direction, distance is dynamically displayed; then type the offset distance in the workspace as shown below

Wall Offset Move Select a wall and choose Move from the Offset flyout of the Modify panel of the Wall contextual tab. Select the component to offset from: (Move the pointer over the wall component to reference the offset, the tip displays the name of the wall component under the pointer; click to select the point.) Select a point to offset to: 5’ (Move the pointer down to set the direction, distance is dynamically displayed; then type the offset distance in the workspace)

Wall Offset Set Select a wall and choose Set From from the Offset flyout of the Modify panel in the Wall contextual tab Select the component to offset from: (Move the pointer over the wall component to reference the offset, select point p2.) Select a point or wall component: (Select point p3 to measure the distance between the two walls.) Enter new distance between the selected points: 5’ (Selected wall surface moved to a point 5’ from the wall.)
