Goodwill Service Learning Project By: Joey Beeson

Goodwill Store  On Tuesday, April 25, 2006 I volunteered to work for 8 whole hours at the Goodwill Store in Valdosta. The Goodwill store is

Working at Goodwill  At the store my main job was sorting through the donations with Shun.

Sorting Through the Donations When I was sorting through donations, I had to separate all clothes, shoes, glassware, kitchenware, and miscellaneous objects.

Clean Up Duty  I also had to gather all of the empty boxes and trash while sorting through donations.

Taking out the Trash  When taking out the trash I had to dump all of the clothes, books, movies, and or whatever the staff considered to be trash in a huge dumpster in the back of the store.

Moving the Sorted Material  After sorting the donations, I had to put all the clothes into a giant blue containers for further sorting.
