Information and Outreach Food and Agricultural Education Information System (FAEIS) Enrollment, graduation and placement information for university and government agencies; collects and reports student minority, multicultural and gender information Employment Opportunities for College Graduates in the Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resources System, Survey of employment opportunities for students in the food and agricultural sciences.

Human Capital and Expertise Development Higher Education Multicultural Scholars Grants Scholarships to recruit and retain diverse students in at least one discipline of the food and agricultural sciences (Baccalaureate or DVM level) National Needs Graduate Fellowships Grants Fellowships to recruit students in critical, national need areas in the food and agricultural sciences (M.S. and Ph.D. studies)

Human Capital and Expertise Development National Awards Program for Excellence in College and University Teaching in the Food and Agricultural Sciences Annually honors a select group of exemplary educators Teacher nominees must be employed by a college or university which confers a baccalaureate or higher degree in at least one area of the food and agricultural sciences Nominees compete in New Teacher, Regional and National categories Awards include either a $2,000 or $5,000 educational stipend, engraved plaque, and travel expenses to address Regional Teaching Improvement Workshops Recognition made annually during the NASULGC meetings

Institutional Enhancement of Teaching Programs Higher Education Challenge Grants Program Eligibility: U.S. colleges and universities offering a baccalaureate or first professional degree in the food and agricultural sciences Targeted Areas of Support Recognize innovative teaching improvement projects in:  Curricula Design – Materials Development  Faculty Preparation and Teaching Enhancement  Instruction Delivery Systems  Student Experiential Learning  Student Recruitment and Retention Non-Federal dollar for dollar match required

Institutional Enhancement of Teaching Programs Resident Instruction in Insular Areas Higher Education Grants Program Eligibility: Insular Area colleges and universities offering a postsecondary degree in the food and agricultural sciences in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Palau; and the Virgin Islands of the United States.
