The game plan.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go (as you are going) therefore and make disciples of all nations (peoples),

Ephesians 4:11 And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; Note the goal of the 5-fold ministers, is to produce functioning disciples!

Ephesians 4:11 And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, The common denominator of the ministry of the biblical prophets, was to call the people of their time to repentance to the torah. Repentance means to turn to, return to, or convert to the torah (teachings of God).

Priest is not on the list because priesthood is to be an essential ministry of all God’s people. Revelation 1:5... To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood 6 and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father,.. Exodus 19:, 6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.

RSV Hebrews 1:1 In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets; 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. 3 He reflects the glory of God and bears the very stamp of his nature, upholding the universe by his word of power. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Hebrews 1:1 In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets; 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, … As is the case for all the books we call the New Testament, their introductions and texts clearly communicate that their God is the God of the Hebrews and that their Old Testament scriptures of authority are the same as those of the church.

Hebrews 1:1 In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets; 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. Jesus the Son is identified as/with God the Creator and as the ultimate authority (owner) of all things.

Hebrews 1:3 He reflects the glory of God (..who being the radiance of His glory..) ‘illustration..sunshine’ ‘perfect communication’ and bears the very stamp (engraving) of his nature (essence),…

Hebrews 1:3 When he had made purification for sins, he sat down (an act signifying that he task is finished) at the right hand of the Majesty on high, The ministry of priesthood. His and ours as mediators of His.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 As you are going therefore.. Acts 2:33 Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you see and hear.
