The church is commissioned: Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT)

Our conclusion too: “…that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God.” Acts 15:19 (NLT)

Our desire: “…to become a church that un- churched people like coming to and like so much that they will not only come back, but will also bring their un- churched friends with them.”

Our mission: Partnering with God to create environments, relationships, and conversations that lovingly point people to the SAVIOR, the SCRIPTURE, and to SACRIFICIAL SERVICE in His name.

A thing we learned: To reach the people that no one else is reaching, we were going to have to do the things that no one else was doing.

A true statement: “The gravitational pull of the church is always from OUTSIDER FOCUS to INSIDER FOCUS.”

A tempting set of questions: “Can’t we just be done!?” “Isn’t this good enough?” “Haven’t we done enough?” “Sacrificed enough?” “Given enough?” “Can’t we just coast now?”

A definitive answer: NO!! Not as long as we are alive and as long as people still need Jesus!

UPWARD, ONWARD, FORWARD, OUTWARD… NOT JUST INWARD!

Our job descriptions: It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV)

The 10% tithe test: “ Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me But you ask, ‘What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you?’ You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me. You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” Malachi 3:8-10 (NLT)

Be BOLD in 4 areas: 4) Be bold with your prayers.

Pray we are like Paul: He welcomed all who visited him, boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ. And no one tried to stop him. Acts 28:30-31 (NLT)
