CHRISTMAS FOOD WASTE CHALLENGE STEP 1. Immediate actions this week Check out NOW what is in the freezer. Plan menus & eat this week from what you have in the freezer & fridge & cupboards. The Benefits from these immediate actions are:- You will save money by reducing or eliminating this week ’ s grocery bill. You will make space for Christmas food to be bought next week. Prevent ‘ dumping unused food ‘ when you realise your short of freezer space and you have not eaten stored frozen foods.

1 Reading the 3 additional attachments will prepare you for:- the correct storage of your Christmas groceries, show you the most common foods we throw out, check you that you understand ‘Use by & best before labels’ before you shop. STEP 2
