Negative Tú Commands To form negative tú commands with regular verbs, we drop the o of the present-tense yo form and add the following endings:

Negative Tú Commands COMER as com como No comas tacos.

Negative Tú Commands Notice that -ar verbs take the ending -es and that –er/-ir verbs take the ending -as. In stem-changing verbs the stem change remains.

Negative Tú Commands No vengas a clase tarde. No digas eso. No tengas miedo.

Negative Tú Commands Verbs ending in -car, -gar, and -zar have the following spelling changes in negative tú commands in order to maintain the original sound.

Reflexive affirmative “Tú” commands In affirmative commands, reflexives are always attached to the end of the verb. Note: an accent mark is necessary on the 3rd syllable of the verb, counting backwards, when a reflexive pronoun is attached to the end.
