Warm-Up  What types of things do you like to do in your free time? (Answer in paragraph format) ~ 5 min.

Objective  SWBAT evaluate which activities and events would be most beneficial to their individualized college experience.

Extracurricular Activities  Read the short article entitled “How to Pick Extracurricular Activities in College”  Review the list of clubs, sports, organizations, and activities offered at Harvard University.  Complete the tasks listed on the next page.  You will turn in one paper for your group of 3-4 students and one paper for your individual reflection.

Group and Individual Assignment Group Assignment  Using the sample student provided list out 3-5 activities that the student should be involved in over their first two years of college. Write one paragraph explaining why the student should select the listed activities. ~ 10 min. Complete the above activity based on your individualized interest. Your paragraph will be collected at the end of class. ~ 15 min. Sample Student  Sallie Mae is attending a 4 year university 3 hours away from home.
