Objectives: searching databases such as PubMed/Medline, Web of Science of the ISI (Institute for Scientific Information) and Scopus of Elsevier. At the end, students should be able to: - search PubMed/Medline, using search strategies by subject (MeSH – Medical Subject Headings) and by refining results; - know the basic functionalities of the references databases (Web of Science and Scopus); - recognize ways to access the full text of documents cited in the databases.

Objectives: to improve the bibliographic referencing skills for a doctoral thesis, a scientific article or a monograph, including creating bibliographic databases using EndNote and entering and managing references in documents created with this software. At the end of the training session students should: - know the main features and functionalities of the EndNote software; - be able to manage bibliographic references and libraries using EndNote; - be able to enter bibliographic references in a Word document. Evaluation: Multiple choice or test at the end of each class
