Children’s University

What is Children’s University? It is about learning new, fun and exciting things! Taking part in after school or lunchtime clubs Giving up time to develop skills Sticking at something Celebrating at our Graduations!

How does it work? Must be voluntary learning Must be out of school hours 1 hour of learning = 1 credit Set targets for young people to achieve Passport to Learning Public or Restricted Learning Destinations Students graduate at end of Year 7 Graduation Ceremony at Lancaster University

Credit Targets Children’s University Undergraduate Level 30 to 400 hours of learning BronzeSilver Gold Awards Certificate Diploma Degree

You can now gain credits from outside of school at Public Learning Destinations

Students will each have their own passport to collect stamps in and record their learning
