Year 11 Revision Nuts and Bolts

Year 11 Revision Make a study plan, programming in the work you need to do. Short bursts ( 30 – 45 mins ) are more effective. Have plenty of breaks to keep concentration. Break subjects into small chunks-less daunting! Don’t do more than 2 subjects a day-Too confusing for the brain. Kick off each section with a topic you find difficult. Get Organised

Year 11 Revision Give yourself the best chance Manage your time carefully. Be honest with yourself. Have a regular place to revise. Ask others to help with your revision. Set up a revision group. Make sure you know what could be on the exam. Check you know when, where and how long the exam will be.

Year 11 Revision Revision Timetable How many days do you have left to revise? How much time will you devote to revision? (sport) How many breaks, and when? Review the timetable as you go on. What will you be gaining after the exams are over?

Year 11 Revision If you don’t understand the question then………….. If you go blank………. You’re running out of time…………… Day of the test
