COMMUNITY COLLEGE VS FOUR YEAR UNIVERSITY Understanding the differences between the two and the cost that comes with each of these pathways to higher learning…

PRE-TEST So we can start off by asking these questions… What is the average annual tuition cost at a two-year college? What is the average annual cost at a private four-year college? What percentage of undergraduate students attends a community or technical college?

PHI THETA KAPPA?? What is Phi Theta Kappa? Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of two-year colleges and academic programs, particularly community colleges and junior colleges. Also the purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.
