How might the teachers use the CA ELD Standards as a guide to provide appropriate levels of scaffolding for EL students at different English language proficiency levels? What instructional practices might you try out in your own classroom? How would you adjust the practices to ensure you’re meeting the needs of your EL students, and in particular, the focal student you identified?
