The Spirit of Jesus is Welded to our spirits (1 Cor. 6:17) 1. We cannot overcome our sinful natures by own energy – sin energy = at work in us (Rom. 8:21 – 25; Eph. 2:1 – 3) 2. Law of Spirit of life works in us – and by cooperating and submitting to Christ now able to overcome specific sins (Rom. 8:1 – 11) 3. We have died and now we live – living and dying each day (Col. 3:1 – 4; 2 Cor. 10:1 - 6)

Our spirits agree with His Spirit that we are sons & daughters of God (Rom. 8:12 – 17) 1. We have the Mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:12 – 16) 2. We are being transformed into his likeness (2 Cor. 3:17, 18) 3. This means we are being made into Christ’s Image (Rom 8:29)
