The following slides do not represent real events and are for exercise purposes only. Failures or impacts of Y2K presented here do not reflect current industry efforts to mitigate Y2K disruptions.

Exercise Coordinator presents slides of possible outcomes Each participant representing a community (city/county) rolls the dice to determine the impact of Y2K by Infrastructure/event. Participants determine the accumulative effects on their community of Y2K related impacts. Participants will then identified if the event could be managed with available resources or would mutual aid and/or request for state assistance be required.

Public Confidence Issues 1 - Public Confidence is High - No issues 2 - Public begins hoarding cash 3 - Spot gas shortages due to lack of confidence in Y2K preparedness 4 - Spot food/water shortages due to lack of confidence in Y2K preparedness 5 - Any two of the above (2, 3 OR 4) 6 - All of the above (2, 3, & 4)
