I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e CoRC Program Overview Background of CoRC Effects of alcohol/drug abuse among AF members is a pressing concern Alcohol misuse and illegal drug use are incompatible with AF Core Values The mis-use of either represents a significant danger to AF mission, morale, and discipline 40% of Airmen report heavy drinking negatively impacts their work performance

I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e Goals of CoRC Ultimate goal is zero alcohol-related and zero illegal drug-related incidents Initial goals: Reduce alcohol and drug related incidents by 25% the first year Create a culture that focuses in workhard/play SMART rather than work hard/play hard Expand existing prevention programs to include the CoRC model
