Proprietary and Confidential Comparing and Projects Costs Using What-If What-If is the area in SmartAnalysis that allows users to project changes, budget for the future and compare charges side by side. What-if has the flexibility to compare charges month-to-month, bank-to-bank, account-to- account and even service group-to-service group, with actual or projected charges.

Proprietary and Confidential What-If Users have the ability to set up unlimited scenarios involving: Side by side bank comparisons based on comparison codes Side by side month to month comparisons Adjust volumes and pricing according to business changes Scenarios can be based on bank level information or single detail account.

A copy of an actual Banking Structure, or a newly created Banking Structure, where you can update and change various aspects of that structure. Chesapeake System Solutions, Inc. Proprietary and Confidential Creating a What-If Scenario Start by creating your scenario and giving the scenario a name.

Chesapeake System Solutions, Inc. Proprietary and Confidential What-If Scenario Copy or drag-n-drop the What-If Banking Structures you want to compare into your scenario. Confirm the selection. Selected bank will be added to your scenario.

Chesapeake System Solutions, Inc. Proprietary and Confidential Removing Accounts and Scenarios Accounts can be removed from a scenario by right clicking on the account and selecting ‘Remove from Scenario’. Entire Scenarios can be deleted.

Chesapeake System Solutions, Inc. Proprietary and Confidential Tips For Successful What-If Results Some AFP Service Codes may need to be re-defined using Comparison Codes. Confirm Comparison Codes are grouped in Comparison Code Families. Resolve all Unexpected Service Charge Discrepancies. If you are working with multiple relationship summaries in the same Bank you have to isolate the relationship you want to work with in the What-If. If your bank is issuing multiple statements for the same month, you have to select the particular statement your want to work with in the What-If.

Yellow highlights changes in amount, and/or volume. Green highlights no activity for that service. Blue highlights bundled or grouped services. The Unit Price is an average. The multiple unit pricing is displayed when user clicks on blue bar.

Users can set up Relationship Settings for each bank if desired. Select Comparison Report Type. Select Fees to include in comparison. All Fees Select comparison code families When completed select Generate.

The Structured View Printable allows users to change volume and print the results. Both allow users to see how those changes affect the bottom line.

Proprietary and Confidential Structured View Dynamic The Structure View Results allows users to change pricing and volume from a single screen to see how those changes affect the bottom line. You can update changes on the results screen and it records changes in the What-If Structure.

It also allows users to forecast expected increases in pricing or volume. What-If allow users to create fictitious scenarios without impacting/corrupting their production database.
