2 After signing on, click on the plus sign for Sites :

3 Site Editing on the Portal The menu will expand & you will see: Click on Update Site Information (you may have to double click)

4 Site Editing on the Portal This will bring up a list of sites. Only sites you are allowed to edit will be displayed

5 Site Editing on the Portal Click on the SIDN of the site you want to edit

6 Site Editing on the Portal The first screen is Site Information :

8 Site Editing on the Portal When you finish making changes click on the Schedule tab:

10 Site Editing on the Portal You can change the opening & closing dates: By default these are set at February 1 and April 15. You can change them or leave them as is.

12 Site Editing on the Portal Use two sets if you close & reopen during the day (e.g. lunch break). Otherwise, just use the top set.

13 Site Editing on the Portal List your closing time as the last time you will take an appointment or start a return. NOT THE TIME YOU ACTUALLY FINISH, CLEAN UP, AND GO HOME

14 Site Editing on the Portal AARP has received complaints from people who read on the website that the closing time was 5pm but when they called and asked for a 4:45 appointment or walked in at 4:50, were turned away. For example, if you are open from 1pm to 5pm but book your last appointment or start your last walk-in return at 4:15pm, your closing time should be listed as 4:15pm, NOT 5pm

15 Site Editing on the Portal To set or change the time, click on the arrow of the box for the day, e.g.

16 Site Editing on the Portal A pull down menu will appear with a list of times Select the time you want. For later times, use the arrow at the bottom to scroll.

19 Site Editing on the Portal Below the Opening/Closing times are few more items: Appointment required, or not, or preferred is self- explanatory. Open to the Public: There are sites such as in nursing homes or assisted living centers that are only open to the residents. If you check Web Disclosure No this site will not appear when someone does a search on the AARP website. This is generally used for sites that are not open to the public.

20 Site Editing on the Portal Below the Opening/Closing times are few more items: Schedule Comments: If check that appointments are required, you dont need to make a comment to that effect. The website will display that information. If, for example, you close when the schools in your area are closed or such, add a comment to that effect.

21 Site Editing on the Portal When you finish with the schedule, click on Other Information :

22 Site Editing on the Portal Do not edit anything in the E-file tab. If you see errors there or changes are needed, contact Dick Bailey, Technology Specialist and Victoria Posner, Administrative Specialist.

24 Site Editing on the Portal Indicate the site sponsor, e.g. Sometown Public Library, orSomewhere Senior Center, etc.

25 Site Editing on the Portal Indicate the type of location by clicking on the arrows

26 Site Editing on the Portal Select the type from the list Scroll to see other choices

27 Site Editing on the Portal If you have counselors who are competent to handle clients who speak other languages, indicate the languages that can be handled. Indicate if the site is Handicap Accessible.

28 Site Editing on the Portal If you need a Certificate of Insurance, click as indicated.

29 Site Editing on the Portal When you have finished editing, click on Save

30 Site Editing on the Portal You can also click on Save at any time while youre editing. Just be sure you do so when youve finished.
