Pests at Camp By: Katlin Higgins Clipart from Bing Clipart Gallery and Windows Clipart Gallery

Kim packs her bag for camp, and Gus sits with his map in his lap.

Kim tells Gus, “You must act fast. The bus will be by to pick us up in a wink.”

He zips up his bag and grabs his cap. Gus and Kim run to the bus just as it stops.

“We are in for a bunch of fun,” said Gus with a grin, “We must rush on to camp so the sun will still be up!”

The bus stops, and the kids jump up and step off.

At camp, Kim swims in the pond with the gals that she met on the bus. Gus has lunch then sits to rest in the sun.

In just a bit, Gus is struck by a splash that gets him wet. Kim and the gals run back to their hut and hid from Mad Gus.

Gus had a plan to snap back at the pests. He got a big bag of bugs and red mud with help from a bud.

When the gals left to go swim and splash, Gus and his bud snuck in their hut.

Tubs and sinks held a lot of the slop. Gus and his bud dump the last of the bad mess.

When the gals got back, they were in shock. All six gals fled the hut with a skip and a jump, for the bugs Gus left had crept to Kim’s bed!

The gals jog to get Gus. “You must help us get rid of the bugs,” said Kim, “we can not rest in that hut!”

“We will not splash you, Gus, if you will help us trap the bugs,” said a gal. The gals each slap Gus’s hand as an end to the tricks.

But… All bets are off on the next trip to camp!
