13. I yelled at him loud I told him to go But he said “We can play Another game that I know” He sprinted outside As quick as a fox And he ran back inside with a big, wide red box

He opened the box And before I could blink Two things darted out I didn’t know what to think “Don’t worry,” said the cat They will not hurt you, They’re my two little things, Named thing one and thing two” They’re hair is blue And they love to have fun Do you want to play With thing two and thing one?

15. The kids shook their hands, but I said no! no! Those things should not be In this house! Make them go! They brought out two kites And they flew them inside But then I said NO Those kites should not glide The hit the lamps They scratched up the wall They hit the pictures As they ran down the hall

16. I looked out the window I trembled in fear I yelled to the kids “Your mother is here!” The boy ran down the hall And he got his big net He captured the things But they weren’t done yet The Cat packed up the things And he left in distress He was sad that he left Our whole house in a mess

17. There is no way to pick up this mess I said. Your mom will come home And then we’ll be dead! And then the door opened And I never would’ve guessed That the Cat would be back To clean up his big mess He rode through the house On a big red machine And with so many gears It started to clean

18. He rode out the door And said “That is that.” And then he was gone With a tip of his hat
