Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. –by faith –more excellent sacrifice (Gen. 4:4) –obtained witness that he was righteous –God testified of his gifts –Abel died, he was still in Gods presence as righteous and serves as an example of saving faith for subsequent generations

Notable Quote Now faith must have some revelation of God on which it fastens.
