Main idea The main idea for john F. kennedy was patriotism.

Supporting detail The supporting detail is that he wanted his country to be a better place. He wanted to support people and make changes so people would feel safe.

Supporting detail President John F. Kennedy helped change this unfairness by developing the Civil Rights Act of The Civil Rights Act of 1964 banned segregation in the US schools and public places. It also started the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Supporting detail Kennedy actually helped promote the Civil Rights movement and was a fantastic public speaker.
