WHY WE EAT Wellness

 Wellness is a lifestyle.  Making choices everyday that will keep your body, mind and relationships healthy.

Wellness: Answer the following questions.  I eat regular, balanced meals every day.  I drink plenty of water every day and when exercising.  I get between 8 and 9 hours of sleep each night.  I exercise at least 30 minutes 3 or more times a week.

Wellness: Answer the following questions.  I wear my seatbelt and use protective gear when playing sports.  I do not use tobacco, alcohol or other drugs.  I ask for help when I need it.  I get along with others.  I can manage stress.

WHY WE EAT Influences on Food Choices

Physical Needs  Nutritients–  Chemicals from food that your body uses to carry out its functions  Wellness  Food is a big part of maintaining wellness.  I’m Hungry!
