Test Taking Tips April 2013

Before selecting my answer, I should read Some of the answersMost of the answersAll of the answersA few of the answers

On the days of the FCAT, I will come to school Well restedOn time, well rested, and I will have eaten a healthy breakfastOn timelate

Any questions left blank on the FCAT Are counted wrong so make sure nothing is left blankDo not count against my score

If I do not know an answer, I can Raise my hand for helpGet the answer from a friendLeave it blankMake my best guess and come back to that question later to try it again

As I read the answers to a question, I can eliminate or get rid of the answers I know are wrong by Putting an X in the bubble by that answerCrossing out the answerMaking a small mark at the END of the answer AWAY from the bubblesCircling the answers

When I finish my test I should Close my booklet and sit quietly Look back over EVERY page in that section, and check EVERY question to make sure I did not skip a question. Then I can close my booklet and sit quietly.

I will probably score better on a test if I stay calm and try my best instead of getting upset and worried. TRUEFALSE

As I read a story, I am allowed to Only read it one time Read it more than one time if I need to so I can locate the answer. I can also circle words or underline sentences in the story if it helps me.
