¿PRETÉRITO O IMPERFECTO? Español 3

¿Pretérito o Imperfecto? It was Tuesday of last week. It was a beautiful sunny day. It was 7:00 in the morning. I was walking to school. I was singing a song. It was a good song! I was happy.

¿Pretérito o Imperfecto? Suddenly, I remembered. My Spanish teacher said we have a test today! I received the reminder on my phone but I forgot. I stopped. I wept a little. I was very sad.

¿Pretérito o Imperfecto? I didn’t know what to do. I took out my phone. I called Dr. Phil. He was listening carefully while I was explaining the situation. Then, Dr. Phil had an idea!

¿Pretérito o Imperfecto? He told me to use Quizlet! I uploaded the Quizlet app onto my phone, and I started to walk again. While I was walking, I was studying the vocabulary. When I finally arrived at school, I knew it all! I took the test. I got an A! It was a great day!

A ti te toca… Write an example for each situation: 1. Setting the scene. 2. Physical description in the past. 3. Time/Date/or Weather 4. Habitual past action. (Siempre – always) 5. Action that did not begin or end at a specific time. (Cuando era niño…) 6. Two simultaneous actions. (Mientras – while) 7. Continuing / interrupting action. (Cuando)

¡A Conversar! 1. Dile al amigo: 5 cosas que hiciste ayer/anoche. 2. Ahora dile: ¿Qué estaba pasando cuando hiciste esas cosas?
