One Cause at a Time: Our students read when they see the need

Students Read to Get Involved More Reading Happens– as students mature and become aware of others in the world.

Invisible Children Invisible Children: Rough Cut is a 2003 documentary based on the experiences of three college students in Northern Uganda. The resulting story focuses on the war's effects on children, particularly child soldiers. (From Wikipedia)

Displace Me In Orlando, FL and other selected cities: Our students camped out in cardboard boxes with only water and crackers to build empathy for the cause.

Schools for Schools Holistically rebuilding schools, raising standards, and challenging young people to actively participate in their changing world.

Schools for Schools Nature Coast Technical High School raised over $7, for our sister school in Awere, Uganda.

On the Leading Edge For student motivation to read about any cause: Current Relevant High Interest Discovery Discussion

To whom much is given… Students can be given an opportunity to champion a cause for those who have none.

Find out more about Invisible Children at their website and consider this as one chance to champion a cause among many: Teacher links include lesson plans and actual connections to social science standards.
