Bell in a nutshell Alexander Graham Bell was born on 3rd March 1847 He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland He didn’t have the middle name, Graham, until he was 11 years old He got it for his birthday When he was 23, Bell and his parents moved to Canada He was a scientist He died on 2nd August 1922, when he was 75

Bell as a scientist Bell first became interested in the science of sound because both his mother and wife were deaf He eventually wanted to send voice signals down a telephone wire In 1876 he and Elisha Gray both filed patents There was a debate about who got there first but the patent was awarded to Bell Bell’s first words on the device were to his assistant Watson.
