RICK Perry In 2003 Rick Perry introduced tuition deregulation as a way for Texas Public Universities to combat budget cuts from the Governor’s office. Since, tuition has risen more than 92% for the Texas resident student.

Rick perry In 2008, the Texas Governor’s Mansion was set ablaze Luckily no one was hurt…..Except the Texas Taxpayers, who will have forked over more than $360,000 in ‘rent for Rick’ while the Mansion is in repair. For his trouble, the Governor must endure the hardship while living in his taxpayer funded rent-mansion. Rent for Rick’s mansion you ask? Only $9,000 a month. Yes, Thousand. Not only rent, but taxpayers have to pay to keep the lights on for good ole’ Rick. That and the costs to get the digs “livable” for the Perry’s have totaled more than $197,000 since April Yes, Thousand. Information compiled from politifact.com
