What are some of your ideas? Why say NO?

I want to follow our family guidelines I want to pursue my goals I want to continue to have self-respect I want to maintain a good reputation I want to protect myself and others from infections with STIs (sexually transmitted infections) including HIV I am NOT willing to risk a pregnancy I am NOT ready to commit to marriage and to be a parent

Why Choose Abstinence?

Because…. Abstinence is healthful and safe Abstinence shows respect for yourself and others Abstinence follows family guidelines Abstinence demonstrates good character

Abstinence is a responsible decision based on self-respect Self respect is more than just acknowledging your own strengths and other positive qualities. It’s also about setting high standards for yourself, having confidence, and stand for what you believe in. If you’re a guy, and the girl doesn’t give you respect, don’t chase her. Say, “No! Forget you!” I don’t care how attractive she looks or how popular she is. Set your standards high and respect yourself. Same for girls: Don’t be stupid. If a guy treats you as if you’re not worthy of his time, don’t degrade yourself. Leave him NOW!
